The perimenopause data layer

Objective data for the perimenopause transition.

MARKABLE is a non-invasive perimenopause wellness platform. From a selfie and a seven-minute check, it reads a rich set of facial signals, across the eye region, facial structure, skin and hairline, alongside cognition, hearing, vision and symptoms, and fuses them into one structured, provider-ready picture. For clinics, care teams, employers and health plans.

The gap MARKABLE closes

About half of women stop hormone therapy in the first year.2

Often before they feel the benefit. MARKABLE gives the care team an objective, repeatable signal between visits, so support and titration happen on fresh data, month to month.

It does not diagnose, prescribe or deliver care. It is the objective data layer that makes the clinician's work sharper.

Why it works

Five signals. One picture of the transition.

Hormones swing too fast to catch in a single reading. MARKABLE reads the pattern they leave across five body signals and fuses them into one longitudinal, provider-ready picture.

01

The pattern, read week over week.

Facial and functional signals accumulate over weeks into one longitudinal wellness picture the care team can follow over time, alongside any clinical testing she already has.

02

Five independent signals, fused into one read.

Facial biomarkers, cognition, hearing, vision and symptoms are read together and fused into a single wellness score, so no single input carries the read on its own.

03

Non-invasive means repeatable.

From the phone she already owns, at home, in seven minutes. Monthly monitoring happens without a lab visit, a blood draw, or a day off work.

04

She arrives already in the picture.

Her structured, longitudinal wellness summary reaches the clinician before the visit. The visit is spent deciding, not reconstructing.

For clinics & care teams

Every visit starts ahead. Every patient has a reason to come back.

Your patient completes a seven-minute check at home, and her full picture reaches you before she sits down: the symptoms she downplays, her cognitive and sensory signals, and how her body has moved since her last visit. History-taking is already handled, so the visit goes straight to care, and it runs on the phone she owns and the inbox you already check.

For employers & benefits leaders

Keep the women who run your business.

Symptoms in the perimenopause transition are quietly pushing experienced women toward the door. MARKABLE gives every woman on your team a private read she does on her own phone, and a credible path back to feeling like herself. It goes live on your benefits menu in days and runs entirely on its own.

For health plans & insurers

Support members through the transition, at population scale.

MARKABLE helps members notice and self-monitor perimenopause-related wellness patterns from their own phone, and prepare for conversations with their own clinician. It reaches members far from a clinic, with no lab visit and no referral or pre-authorisation. The health-equity story an insurer or employer can stand behind.

The technology

Five data channels, one wellness profile.

Here is what each of the five signals reads, and why it belongs in the picture.

01

Facial biomarkers

A single selfie reads a rich set of markers across the eye region, facial structure and volume, cutaneous texture, tone and the hairline, the morphological signals associated with the hormonal transition.

Facial
02

Cognition

Short on-phone games read processing speed, word retrieval, working memory and recall, the cognitive domains sensitive to hormonal change.

Cognitive
03

Hearing

Sound tasks read auditory processing, one of the sensory systems that shifts across the transition.

Sensory
04

Vision

Contrast and color tasks read visual processing, a second independent sensory signal.

Sensory
05

Symptoms

70+ symptom domains, captured structured, surface the patterns a woman rarely reports on her own.

Research & validation

Built on real data, from real women.

In our pilot, the fused model reached an AUC of 0.87. It is early and observational, and we say so plainly. The current model fuses facial, symptom and cognitive signals across more than seventy symptom domains, and the research grows with every check. A paper is in preparation for peer review, and full validation detail is available on request.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is there an objective way to assess the perimenopause transition? +
MARKABLE reads five wellness signals from a selfie and a seven-minute smartphone check (facial biomarkers, cognition, hearing, vision and symptoms) and fuses them into one structured, provider-ready wellness picture a woman and her clinician can track over time. It is a general wellness product, not a diagnostic test.
How can clinics track the transition between visits? +
The patient completes a seven-minute check at home each month. The clinic receives a structured, longitudinal wellness summary before the visit, so history-taking is already handled and the visit goes straight to care. No new hardware and no workflow change.
Is MARKABLE a medical device? +
No. MARKABLE is a general wellness product for personal awareness and self-monitoring, in line with FDA, MHRA (UK) and Israeli MOH general-wellness guidance. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
How does the facial analysis relate to hormonal change? +
Using a standard smartphone camera, MARKABLE analyzes a broad set of facial parameters across the eye region, facial structure, cutaneous texture, tone and the hairline. These patterns are associated with hormonal change and accumulate over weeks, giving trend data rather than a single point-in-time reading.
What does the provider report include? +
A structured summary of the patient's top concerns with severity, symptom clusters across 70+ domains, cognitive and sensory wellness scores, a hormonal wellness trend index, longitudinal trends when multiple checks exist, and suggested discussion points. It supports the visit and is not a diagnosis.
How long does a check take? +
About seven minutes, from the phone she already owns. A selfie, a short set of cognitive games, quick sensory checks and a structured symptom log. Results are available immediately.
Is patient data shared with employers? +
Individual health data belongs to the user. Employers who offer MARKABLE as a benefit receive only aggregate, de-identified engagement metrics, never individual results or health data, except as required by law.
What about photo privacy? +
Facial images are processed and converted into numerical wellness data. The original photo is not stored on our servers unless the user explicitly opts in. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
